Cooper Plastics is a custom plastic manufacturer headquartered just outside of Chicago in Whiting, Indiana. Our company was established in 2023 as a custom manufacturing division of PolyJohn Enterprises Corporation, a leading, worldwide manufacturer of high-quality portable sanitation equipment. We specialize in transforming thermoplastic materials into dependable plastic parts and products.

Raw plastic material (resin) is processed into flat sheets that can be used in other plastic manufacturing processes.
Heat and pressure are used to force plastic sheets into a mold and transform them into the end product.
In this process, also known as rotomolding, the mold is rotated vertically and horizontally in an oven to produce hollow plastic products.
Molten plastic is injected into the mold to produce durable plastic products and minimize scrap material.
Compressed air is blown into a plastic tube (parison/preform) within the mold to produce hollow plastic parts and products.
This process combines traditional injection molding with a foaming agent to create parts with a foamed core and solid outer skin that are lightweight but durable.
